~ Meet Our Wedding Party ~

How we met:

We met at Bryan College on the way to chapel when I complimented her on her hairstyle and then we ended up sitting together and almost instantly became friends.

Favorite memory together:

It’s hard to pick just one and I would have to say that one of my favorite things about her is our ongoing jokes, some of which have lasted for years. I will always remember though how she would make the funniest faces at me during my orchestra concerts to the point that it was hard to keep it together.

Corey - Maid of Honor

How we met:

We met at Universal Studios during Halloween Horror Nights. An absolute unit of a man came around the corner, and we clicked instantly no awkward phase, just brothers from day one.

Favorite memory together:

Back in LA, we spent long nights sitting on a beat-up bench overlooking Universal Studios, talking shop and dreaming about how we’d do things better in the industry. Colby helped keep me moving when quitting would’ve been easier, and his grit, work ethic, and refusal to quit, especially after beating cancer have pushed me to aim higher ever since.

Colby - Best Man

How we met:

We met at Southern Maine Community College and became friends after I confused her with another redheaded Rachel, but that soon changed into late night conversations after our 7pm accounting class, long drives and random excursions with so much laughter that it could count as an ab workout.

Favorite memory together:

One of my favorite memories (that still makes me laugh) would include our pre-finals games of ping pong that would quickly turn into something more closely related to dodgeball. Leave it to her to make any situation a lot more entertaining!

Rachel

How we met:

We met working on a Travel Texas commercial that dragged us all over the state in brutal summer heat. Long days turned into late-night hotel room talks, usually over Dragon’s Milk—a stout I love and he merely tolerates.

Favorite memory together:

Whether we were trauma-bonding over an impossible producer or scrambling to fix something right now, Kyle was always steady. No drama. No excuses. Just dependable. These days he’s built a real business in Texas home building, but he’s one of the good ones and I’m proud to have him standing with me.

Kyle

How we met:

We met at Bryan college and hit it off right away, bonding over our love of coffee.

Favorite memory together:

Some of my favorite memories together happen to take place in the gym when she would show me how to use a new piece of equipment but then we would somehow always find a creative (though not quite intended) way to use it which ended up in fits of laughter, either way it was a great workout.

Caitlyn

How we met:

We met in Los Angeles through our church and what started as shared faith quickly turned into a deep friendship that would shape the course of my life.

Favorite memory together:

When I was in Texas trying to figure out my next step, Luke made me an offer that was hard to turn down—moving to Georgia. Luke and his family became my family away from home, even while I was living in Los Angeles. Over the last 15 years, the Averys have been present for many of my biggest life decisions—from Halloween at Trilith to late-night Jackbox games and ringing in the New Year together. Luke has always felt like a big brother, and I’m honored to have him standing with me on this day.

Luke

How we met:

We met at Bryan College and quickly became fast friends over a conversation that started about what essential oils they were diffusing in their room.

Favorite memory together:

I remember how after every concert or play we went to (or during almost any late night conversation) she would inevitably break out in song from a random musical. It could be anything from Singing in the Rain to The Phantom of the Opera to anything in between and was always memorable.

Charley

How we met:
We met during my day job managing a local mechanic shop chain. Jacob became my right-hand man for nearly two years, making 54-plus-hour workweeks bearable—right up until he selfishly accepted a well-earned promotion managing another store.

Favorite memory together:
Jacob is the living definition of Proverbs 17:17, “a brother is born for adversity.” He’s incredibly talented at knife making and just about anything related to homesteading, which is where we really connected. From helping me build my rabbit colony, dog kennel, and chicken coop, to Renaissance Fair margaritas out of a horn and Columbus River Dragons hockey games, Jacob is one of the best things to come out of my current job. I’m proud to have him standing with me.

How we met:

Through Alex / our guys work together

Favorite memory together:

When we first hung out together, I didn’t realize just how much detective work she was doing, while simultaneously convincing me that she was awful at keeping secrets. It was so much fun to catch up after we got engaged and hear about just how much she knew and had helped with the planning and distraction along the way end then get to enjoy sharing future wedding planning ideas and brainstorming sessions together.

Nina

How we met:

I met Andy through Luke at one of our New Year’s Eve gatherings—one of those nights that turned into late-night Jackbox games, good conversation, and the start of a lasting friendship.

Favorite memory together:

From the beginning, Andy was the guy who always answered the call. Calm, steady, and unshakable—so composed it occasionally raises questions about a possible past life as a highly trained assassin. With over 40 SFX credits to his name, he knows his craft, stays humble, and remains dependable under pressure. I’m grateful to call him a friend and honored to have him standing with me.
